Job Duties: Lead the design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, and support of business and computer applications software or specialized utility programs, and major enhancements of existing systems for client projects. Responsible for all phases of the software development life-cycle (SDLC). Fine-tune and improve a variety of sophisticated software implementation projects. Gather and analyze user and business requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs and data. Create appropriate software documentation. Support and troubleshoot software as required, including testing / quality assurance, optimizing performance, resolving issues, and providing solutions. Lead design and code reviews and mentor junior team members. Demonstrate expertise in development methodologies, software design patterns, and software engineering best practices for the application of development domain areas and specific technologies and tool sets.
Requirements: This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Job Duties: Design, develop, implement, test, maintain, and support business and computer applications software or specialized utility programs, including database applications, and major enhancements of existing systems. Involved in the complete software development life-cycle. Responsible for administration and development of applications using Oracle database, PL/SQL, and Oracle APEX (Oracle Application Express). Perform application modernization, migrating existing Oracle Forms and Reports applications to Oracle APEX for large-scale business applications. Responsible for database development using PL/SQL and reporting and analytics using Power BI and Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) Publisher / Oracle Analytics Publisher. Perform integration and performance optimization of APEX applications with Oracle databases. Create PL/SQL scripts to extract data from the operational database. Implement multi-threading in PL/SQL package. Perform SQL and PL/SQL tuning and application tuning using various tools including SQL Trace. Conduct performance tuning including optimizing queries and analyzing AWR reports. Generate reporting dashboards and data extract using Tableau. Follow best practices for version control and CI/CD (Continuous Integration /Continuous Deployment). Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and other IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Involved in knowledge transfer, user training, and technical documentation.
