Interpro, Inc. has an opening for a Database Developer (Ref# DD410SS) to work in Keego Harbor, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Job Duties: Responsible for database and data warehouse development and design, primarily in Oracle PL/SQL, as well as ETL development using Informatica, working within a data warehouse environment with star schema. Create technical specifications, unit test cases, and transition and operation documents. Serve as technical lead for Oracle PL/SQL development. Develop complex database objects including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers using SQL and PL/SQL. Create, update, and review TDD (technical design documents). Involved in technical discussions/design related to the project. Responsible for Oracle database design, development, and performance tuning. Use Agile methodology to work and deliver the tasks based on Scrum structure. Involved in code implementation using uDeploy and debugging issues/defects related to project. Conduct SQL and PL/SQL tuning and application tuning using various tools like EXPLAIN PLAN, SQL Trace, TKProf, and AUTOTRACE. Create batch job interfaces for data cleaning, processing, and loading using shell scripts and SQL*Loader. Perform impact analysis related to tasks/issues and bug fixing and defect verification. Provide support during development and post-deployment. Use of Oracle, PL/SQL, Informatica, Toad, Autosys, JIRA, Jenkins, Stash, Oracle GoldenGate, Oracle Forms & Reports, Oracle Discoverer, PL/SQL Developer, uDeploy, Toad Data Modeler, GitHub, UNIX Shell Script, UNIX, and Windows. Travel and/or relocation required.

Requirements: This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Database Consultant, ETL Consultant, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with ETL, Oracle, PL/SQL, Toad, Oracle Forms & Reports, PL/SQL Developer, and UNIX Shell Script. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
